Today I’m joined by my sidekick, Aubrey Kay Wallner, to talk about some of the great things you can do during the holiday season, even when it starts to get cold out here in St. Louis.

First of all, there’s Winter Wonderland in Tilles Park. This event starts on November 22 and runs to January 1. There are some amazing holiday lights in the park. You can drive through in your car or ride through in a horse-drawn carriage.

If you are interested in more holiday lights, don’t miss Garden Glow at the Botanical Garden on November 18 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. There’s also the Ameren Missouri Festival of Lights on November 18 and the Lighting of the Salvation Army Tree of Lights. The St. Louis Blues and the Gateway Arch Park foundation will also team up on November 18 for Winterfest at The Arch, the opening of the ice rink at the new Kiener Plaza. There will be fireworks!

November 18 is a very busy day for holiday events, as there will also be the Taubman Prestige Outlets Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be live music, pictures with Santa, ice carving demonstrations, hot chocolate, cookies, and balloon art!

Six Flags also has Holiday In The Park, which starts on November 24 and runs through January 1.

Don’t miss the Ameren Thanksgiving Day Parade!

You can also check out the Polar Express Train Ride in Union Station from November 24 to December 30.

Of course, you can’t miss the Ameren Thanksgiving Day Parade. This year marks the 33rd Thanksgiving parade in Ameren. The parade starts at 8:45 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day and runs west from 7th Street and Market Street to Union Square and ends at 20th Street. There will be over 130 balloons, floats, firetrucks, cars, marching bands, and of course, Santa! It’s really a lot of fun.

“Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical” is coming to the fabulous Fox Theater. It premieres on November 22, so get your tickets soon.

If you don’t want to go outside, you can always check out a Blues hockey game and stay inside where it’s warm.

Finally, if you are thinking of selling your home this winter, see what my sidekick Aubrey has to say at the end of our video.

If you have any real estate questions, please don’t hesitate to give me a call or send me an email. I would be happy to help you.
